On the Garden Island of Kauai, Waimea Canyon stands as a unique geological location the resembles the popular Grand Canyon, yet is visually striking because of red volcanic soil, cascading waterfalls, and lush Valley bottoms.
When you have an idea of what a place may be like, and then you visit that place, and it blows open your mind and drastically changes your perceptions with its beauty: Awesome!
The walk up to Clingsman Dome is relatively easy: 15-20 minutes up a paved pathway. And it shows by the number of people up at the lookout. But I think places like this are not only beautiful but necessary to ensure people remain connected with nature, and are reminded of her intrinsic values.
The rugged coast of British Columbia is a true beauty to behold. A wilderness left standing from a time long past into memory and story. To walk within it’s depths, is to also walk within yourself too. If you go into this nature with wonder, it will reveal answers that you didn’t even know the questions too.
