The Great Smoky Mountains

             The Route of the Appalachian Trail from Clingsman Dome, Tennessee/North Carolina, USA

The walk up to Clingsman Dome is relatively easy: 15-20 minutes up a paved pathway. And it shows by the number of people up at the lookout. But I think places like this are not only beautiful but necessary to ensure people remain connected with nature, and are reminded of her intrinsic values.
